Red And White Fleet Features The Holiday Twilight Cruise and Golden Gate Bay Cruise Over All Major Holidays




For those that want to celebrate the coming holiday season in San Francisco with a festive, city lights-inspired twilight tour or a casual bay cruise, Red and White Fleet has packaged up San Francisco’s only “Holiday Twilight Cruise” and the original San Francisco Golden Gate Bay Cruise. Perfect for families, couples or groups of friends, or for anyone who wants to get out of the house during the holidays, both cruises are offered on the upcoming holidays, including Christmas, Hanukah and New Year.

The two-hour “Holiday Twilight Cruise” features views of the city’s spectacular nightscape, live guitar entertainment, light appetizers from the buffet and a hot or cold beverage from the bar. Nestled into the warm and cozy atmosphere of Red and White Fleet’s historic ferry boats, the cruise will pass along the dramatically lit skyline of San Francisco with its modern skyscrapers and historic landmarks, pass the infamous island of Alcatraz and cruise under the impressive San Francisco Bay Bridge and the legendary Golden Gate Bridge. San Francisco’s original bay tour, the Golden Gate Bay Cruise was launched in 1939 as part of the Golden Gate International Exposition. This cruise has been a highlight of any visit to San Francisco for 70 years and a favorite for locals as well. This one hour excursion sails along San Francisco's breathtaking waterfront, under the majestic Golden Gate Bridge and closely around notorious Alcatraz Island. On route, passengers will discover San Francisco's history and world famous landmarks through personal headphone audio, available in 12 languages. There will be five cruises a day on the aforementioned holidays. Prices are $24 for adults (18+) and $16 for youth (ages 5-17). Children under five are free. Sister Property Hyatt Regency San Francisco is Home for the Holidays

Chef Herbert Ng's Famous Granola




After a Facebook Fan gushed about our Granola recipe, Chef Herbert responded! Here's the recipe for our delicious Granola! Bon appetit!

RECIPE: Granola

Oatmeal ¼ cup

Bran Flakes 1 box

All Purpose Flour 2 cup

Brown Sugar ½ lb

Coconut Flakes 2 cup

Sesame Seeds 1 cup

Salad Oil 1 cup

Honey 1 cup

Walnuts 1 cup

Pecan Halves 2.5 cup

Sliced Almond 1.25 cup

Pistachios 1 cup

PROCEDURES

Mix first 6 ingredients by hand. Mix in remaining ingredients and blend well. Spread evenly on pan in thin layer. Baked at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes turning every 10 minutes to cook evenly. Remove when golden brown. Mixture will harden as it cooks.

New Dog-friendly Pet Program Debuts at Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport-Burlingame



Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport – Burlingame recently introduced a new dog-friendly pet program. Guests traveling with canine companions can have a maximum of two (2) dogs, up to 50 pounds each, with them in their guest room. Each guest receives a “Doggie Welcome Kit” which includes a welcome letter, “dog on vacation” guestroom door hanger, a Hyatt branded dog bed, bowl, ID tag, and special dog treats. During their stay, four-legged friends will enjoy the grassy dog walking area complete with convenient, fully stocked clean-up stations.

Conveniently located in the Hotel to allow for easy access for dog walking, a select number of dog-friendly guest rooms are designated and, along with the standard room cleaning procedures, the rooms undergo a deep cleaning – including carpets, drapery and all upholstered furniture – after each dog guest has checked out. Reservations must be made at least three (3) days in advance of arrival and accommodations for pets include a $35 charge per day of your stay.
