After a Facebook Fan gushed about our Granola recipe, Chef Herbert responded! Here's the recipe for our delicious Granola! Bon appetit!
RECIPE: Granola
Oatmeal ¼ cup
Bran Flakes 1 box
All Purpose Flour 2 cup
Brown Sugar ½ lb
Coconut Flakes 2 cup
Sesame Seeds 1 cup
Salad Oil 1 cup
Honey 1 cup
Walnuts 1 cup
Pecan Halves 2.5 cup
Sliced Almond 1.25 cup
Pistachios 1 cup
PROCEDURES
Mix first 6 ingredients by hand. Mix in remaining ingredients and blend well. Spread evenly on pan in thin layer. Baked at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes turning every 10 minutes to cook evenly. Remove when golden brown. Mixture will harden as it cooks.

My family stayed at the Hyatt San Francisco Airport Aug 31-Sept 3, 2012 for the UNR v. Cal Berkeley game (which UNR won YEAH!) Everyone loved Chef Herb's Granola served in the Regency Lounge! FABULOUSLY DELICIOUS! I am so glad this recipe is already available. This will definitely be added to the Frost Family Favorites cookbook!
