While
the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport boasts the most convenient hotel
accommodations for meetings and events, the property is also surrounded by
several intriguing off-site venues that are convenient options for those that
want a little diversity in their agenda.
One
of the hotel’s new favorite recommendations is the science museum CuriOdyssey,
which is located only five minutes from the hotel in the natural setting of
Coyote Point Recreation Area.
CuriOdyssey features stunning views of the San
Francisco Bay as well as the city of San Francisco and is an ideal option for
any event, including: weddings, company retreats, off-site meetings, cocktail
receptions, b'nai mitzvah, family parties, special occasions and fundraising
events.
The museum’s Redwood Hall is largely composed of
rich, repurposed wood and the room features a unique, multi-tiered space that
allows groups to occupy part of or the entire facility. For evening events, guests have access
to the beautiful gardens and CuriOdyssey’s main building, which houses a
variety of fascinating interactive exhibits.
And…here’s one little tip: with prior arrangement with the
museum’s Wildlife Department, groups may opt to include an up close encounter
with one of the many animal ambassadors.
CuriOdyssey’s capacity for the Redwood Hall is 350
for a cocktail reception and 300 for a seated function. Available in the evening only, the
entire museum can accommodate 500 for cocktails and 300 for a seated
event. For more information, visit
